The 21st Century Resurgent Great Plains


One of the least anticipated developments in the global geography of the 21st-century is the resurgence of the Great Plains of North America.   For much of the past century the Great Plains – a vast area that constitutes the largest part of the North American continent – has been caricatured as a “great mistake.”
