Economic research reveals regional identity.
The Four Corners Region Economic Strategy was developed to increase the region’s economic impact and strengthen its reputation as a center of economic development in California. Praxis Strategy Group and Joel Kotkin worked with the La Jolla Institute to develop an economic identity strategy for the Four Corners region, an area including parts of all four counties in the Los Angeles and Riverside, California, metropolitan areas.
Praxis used zip codes to create a distinct economic region covering parts of all four counties and provided analysis, defining the region’s place in the larger metropex economy. The research identified emerging clusters and occupations, as well as areas of potential and recent growth for the region.
The final report helped establish Four Corners as an important economic center and identified sources of employment in the region.
